How we make your books.

Duplicate, triplicate & carbonless

NCR stands for “no carbon required” — the pages are coated so that whatever you write on the top sheet copies straight through to the pages beneath, with no messy carbon paper. A duplicate book gives you two parts (one to hand over, one to keep); a triplicate book gives you three. It’s the same carbonless system whether you’re printing quotation books, delivery books, invoice books or receipt books.

Sizes and layout

Books are commonly printed A4, A5, A6 or DL, but we set the layout up around the way your business actually works — your logo, your columns, your terms and your VAT number on every page. Send us an example of your current book, or tell us what fields you need, and we’ll lay it out to suit.

Numbering, perforation & binding

Sequential numbering keeps your paperwork traceable so nothing goes missing. Perforation lets the top copy tear out cleanly while the record stays bound in the book. We bind with sturdy covers and can add a wraparound writing shield so you only mark the set you’re working on. All of this happens in-house on our own finishing equipment.
