Twenty-six years at the same address

ColourCraft Print opened in Rietondale in 2000 and has printed from 116 Lys Street ever since. In a trade where shops come and go, twenty-six years in one building is the part we’re proudest of — and it is not just sentiment. It means the artwork we set up for a customer years ago is still on file, and the book they order this year matches the one they ordered then, down to the numbering.

Our oldest customers have been with us for two decades. That repeat business is the most honest review we can offer.

What we run

Digital printing, litho printing and finishing — all three departments under one roof.

That matters more than it sounds. Most delays in printing happen when a job leaves the building to be finished somewhere else. Ours goes from the press to the next room.

Who you'll deal with

Cor Pretorius — 083 268 1109. Owner. On the presses most days, and does the layout work in CorelDraw.

Kevin Gerber — 079 524 4918. Quotes, artwork and getting jobs through the shop.

Phone either of us and you are talking to someone who can decide something on the spot.

The work we do most

Business forms, mainly — the invoice books, delivery books, jobcards and waybills a working company gets through and reorders. Over the years that has built into a few industries we know particularly well:

• Motor dealerships — F&I compliance folders, deal documentation and workshop jobcards
• Transport, bussing and logistics — ticket books, waybills, damage reports and depot paperwork
• Medical and clinical practices — patient forms, script pads and consent forms
• Schools — registers, permission slips, diaries and certificates

Alongside those: retailers, workshops, and a lot of ordinary businesses across Pretoria and Gauteng who need one thing printed properly and reordered without fuss.

How we'd rather work

• We keep your artwork on file. Reorders are a phone call, and the new batch matches the old one exactly.
• We'll tell you when you're overspending. Ordering too many, choosing an expensive material you don't need, printing full colour where one colour reads better — we'd rather say so.
• We'll say no when we should. If a job needs a machine we don't have, we'll tell you rather than take the order and hope.
